If it is safe to reach, shut off the affected breaker — never touch a wet or scorched panel.

Unplug sensitive electronics on the affected circuits to protect them from surges.

Keep people and pets clear of any damaged wiring, panels, or standing water.

Write down what happened and when — it shortens our diagnosis considerably.
